Introduction

Waste Tools (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is developed and operated by the developer (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with transparency and care. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information about you when you use our App, and the rights you have regarding your information.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. By tapping "I Agree" and continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy.

Note: The App does not ask you to provide your name, phone number, or email address. However, the SDKs described below may process device identifiers, online identifiers, and technical or advertising data that can constitute personal data under applicable law.

Legal Basis: Where required by law (including the GDPR and UK GDPR), we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing device identifiers, usage data, and advertising-related data for analytics and personalized advertising. We obtain this consent through an in-app consent mechanism before such processing begins. For the operation, security, and core functionality of the App, we rely on our legitimate interests, which we have balanced against your rights and freedoms.

HarmonyOS Version Disclosure

The HarmonyOS version currently does not use advertising services, initialize advertising SDKs, request advertising consent, or display rewarded, app-open, or native feed ads. Accordingly, the HarmonyOS version does not process device identifiers, network information, or ad loading, impression, click, or reward interaction data for advertising services.

On HarmonyOS, the App processes camera, microphone, location, and sensor information only when you actively use the relevant tools and grant the required system permissions. With your consent, system services may collect anonymous usage and crash information to improve stability. The HarmonyOS privacy settings do not display advertising-consent or ad-consent withdrawal options.

iOS Personalized Advertising and System Tracking Authorization

On iOS, consent to advertising services and consent to personalized advertising are separate. Personalized advertising is optional and off by default. If you do not select it, the App does not request Apple's system tracking permission for personalized advertising.

If you choose personalized advertising, the App requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before the first advertising SDK initialization. An advertising service may use the IDFA only when you both select personalized advertising and authorize tracking in Apple's system prompt, for personalized delivery, measurement, or attribution.

If you decline, restrict, or later withdraw system tracking authorization, or do not select personalized advertising in the App, the App does not use the IDFA for personalized ads. Advertising services may still show non-personalized or contextual ads and may process IP address, device model, OS version, network data, and other SDK-required technical data for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, and security.

You can stop future ad requests and clear cached ads in Settings → Privacy Policy → Withdraw ad consent. You can also change system tracking authorization in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Withdrawal does not affect the App's core tools, but may affect ad relevance and fill.

1. Information We Collect and Why

1.1 Device Information

Information TypeSpecific FieldsPurpose
Device and online identifiersApp-instance identifiers, device identifiers, advertising identifiers where available; on iOS, IDFA is used for personalized advertising only when you select it and authorize ATTAnalytics, advertising delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and security
Device and app informationDevice model, OS version, language, app version, app state, and screen characteristicsCompatibility, performance, diagnostics, and advertising adaptation
Network and advertising interaction dataIP address, network information, consent choice, ad load/impression/click/reward eventsConsent management, ad requests, measurement, billing, frequency control, and fraud prevention

1.2 Usage Data

Information TypeSpecific ContentPurpose
Launch DataApp launch time, launch countTo calculate Daily Active Users (DAU) and Monthly Active Users (MAU)
Feature Usage DataTool open counts, session durationTo understand user preferences and optimize product experience
DiagnosticsCrash-related device state, stack traces, and diagnostic informationTo identify and fix stability issues

1.3 Location Information (Optional)

Information TypeDescription
Approximate or Precise LocationOnly when you actively use automatic location in the Local Weather tool or the Altitude Measurement tool, and grant the system permission, the App reads your current coordinates, city, and altitude-related information to show your city and calculate altitude. This information is used locally for the relevant function only, is not used for continuous background location, and precise location is not provided to third-party SDKs.
You can disable location permissions in your device settings. This affects automatic location and altitude measurement only; other tools continue to work.

1.4 Device Sensor Information (Optional)

Information TypeUse, Purpose, and Method
Availability and real-time values of specific sensorsOnly while you actively use functions such as the level, compass, shake interactions, dice, flashlight, or altitude measurement, the App checks whether the device supports specific sensors, such as the accelerometer, rotation vector, or barometer, and reads orientation, direction, shaking, or air-pressure values to provide the relevant function. This information is processed in real time on the device only, is not uploaded or shared with third parties, stops being monitored after you leave the relevant function, and is not collected continuously in the background.

1.5 Camera, Microphone, Image Saving, and Reminders (Optional)

Information or PermissionUse, Purpose, and Method
CameraOnly when you actively use measurement, mirror, beauty, QR-code scanning, or Pomodoro interactions, and grant the system permission, the App accesses the camera feed for live preview, recognition, or local processing. The feed is not uploaded unless you actively save or share it through the system.
MicrophoneOnly when you actively use decibel, sound, or blowing-interaction functions, and grant the system permission, the App captures sound for real-time volume analysis, voice effects, or interactions. Audio is processed on the device by default. Only when you actively use the system sharing feature is the audio you select provided to the system share target.
Images generated in the AppOnly when you tap "Save to Photos" does the App write a photo taken, edited, or generated in the App to the system photo library. On Android 9 and below, the App requests write access to external storage to complete that action. The App does not read photos, videos, or other files already in your photo library or shared storage.
Notifications and exact alarmsOnly when you use the Pomodoro timer, and grant the system permission where required, the App sends a local completion reminder and schedules a local alarm. They are not used for advertising notifications.
